Registrations are filling fast for the 2022 ICMJ Northern Conference in Rockhampton from April 20-23, with 2022 Nuffield Scholar Munro Hardy locked in as a keynote speaker.
The AgriWebb Senior Key Account Manager is passionate about helping Australia’s agricultural industry become more productive and resilient and through his Nuffield scholarship, he is exploring opportunities to leverage data throughout the supply chain to benefit producers.
His exciting and inspiring story will give participants a fascinating insight into the cattle industry in northern Australia and how technological solutions are shaping its future.
“My passion lies in helping the industry achieve its full potential by bringing better solutions to fuel sustainable growth,” Mr Hardy said.
As well as his keynote presentation ‘Leveraging Technology for the Future of Agriculture’, Munro and the AgriWebb team will also be at the Thursday evening Career and Trade Expo at the Frenchville Sports Club, sponsored by Advance Rockhampton.
With an extensive network and in-depth knowledge of the economic, cultural, and political fabric of the northern beef industry, Munro has a wealth of knowledge to offer those in the early stages of their career.
“I have worked on some of Australia’s largest cattle stations and have developed a deep understanding of many different operations,” he said.
“I have made it my mission to learn all I can from leaders in the industry, and to discover the best solutions available to producers.”
The 2022 ICMJ Northern Conference, hosted by CQUniversity and Teys Australia, is open to anyone working or studying in the red meat industry and promises to be one of the industry’s premier professional development and networking opportunities.
Other keynote speakers include Hogs Breath Café Corporate Executive Chef John Alexander and Chair of the Australian Beef Sustainability Framework and Keppel Brand Director, Mark Davie.
